Solid Timber

Solid timber floors have much longer lifespan than laminate floors and engineered timber floors. Solid timber floors usually can be re-sanded 2-3 times after its initial installation. On average you can re-sand timber floors after about 10 to 12 years if they are well looked after. Therefore, solid timber floors should last for over 30-40 years where engineered timber floors would most likely last around 20 years.
